Indoor Air Quality Products in Dalton, Massillon & Hudson, Ohio
The quality of indoor air inside homes, office buildings and schools is important for comfort and health! Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) is linked to symptoms such as fatigue, concentration issues, headache/migraines and dry eyes. It also can irritate and dry out the lungs, throat and nose. In addiditon, asthma can be linked to specific air contaminants and indoor environments as well. On a more extreme scale, some exposures, such as asbestos and radon, do not cause immediate symptoms but can lead to cancer after many years. Many factors and contaminants affect IAQ. These contaminants include mold spores, pet dander, smoking, construction particles, cleaning supplies, pesticides and other airborne chemicals. Some factors that affect IAQ are poor ventilation, recent remodeling (not allowing fresh air to come into the rennovated space), high and low humidity changes and difficulties controlling temperatures.
