Since our founding in 1960, we at Shanklin Heating & Air Conditioning have been proud to serve the Ohio community. Being a part of this great community inspires us each day to provide you and your families with friendly and high-quality service. We know how important it is for you to feel safe and comfortable in your homes. Because of this, we want to give back to the local first responders who work tirelessly to keep this community safe and healthy. Each month, our team at Shanklin has been providing lunch to one of our area’s first responders.
In March, we brought lunch to the Brewster Police Department and Fire Department. This gave us a great opportunity to learn more about these organizations and the crucial support they provide our community.
The Brewster Police Department consists of 7 full-time officers and 8 part-time officers who work tirelessly 24/7 to keep the community protected. They are led by Chief Keith Creter, who has been serving as Chief of Police since 2016. We are proud and thankful of the work these brave men and women do every day.
The Brewster Fire Department was established in 1918 and provides both fire and ambulance services to the community. The department is led by Chris Colucy, who was appointed as Fire Chief in 2016 after serving the Fire Department for 26 years. This volunteer department is comprised of firemen, paramedics, and EMTs. They even have 5 firemen who have undergone the 240-hour professional firefighter certification.
Thank you to the Brewster Police and Fire Departments! We really enjoyed having the opportunity to show them how much we appreciate their hard work. We are grateful for all they do to keep our community safe, and we look forward to continuing to give back to first responders.
